TIMELY SERVICE AT THE MARRIOTT'S CITRIQUE

SURFERS Paradise Marriott Resort and Spa’s Citrique restaurant has taken a fresh approach to mid-week dining with a new a la carte lunch menu.

For business people looking to streamline their lunch times, Citrique’s director of food and beverage Andrew Nadin, says Marriott has always been a popular spot for business lunches.

“Corporate guests are often time-poor so can’t make the most of Citrique’s extensive buffet offerings. Our a la carte menu allows them to have the great food that Marriott is renowned for, on a tight schedule,” he says.

Guests can expect set meals like Atlantic salmon with desiree pave and dill beurre blanc to seafood platters for two including fresh oysters, Moreton Bay bugs and prawns.

“Our chefs have designed dishes with the signature Marriott flair and flavour that can be delivered quickly in-line with demand,” says Nadin.

“It’s a fresh twist on a la carte dining and locals won’t get better value for a 5-star dining experience mid-week on the coast.”

Guests can enjoy the soup of the day, a chef-crafted selection of salads, antipastos and freshly baked French baguettes.

To finish there are six different types of decadent ice-creams with more than 16 delicious condiments including traditional fudges, toppings and additions from the dessert bar.

With complimentary undercover parking and WIFI, along with proximity to the central business districts of Surfers Paradise, Nadin says the Marriott’s popularity is becoming a hit for patrons on the move.

“We wanted to make it as easy as possible for corporate guests to conduct their business while also catering for our resort guests and Gold Coast locals,” he says.

“Although the new menu is targeted at the mid-week market, the Marriott’s famous seafood buffet in Citrique will still be offered for dinner every night of the week and for lunch on weekends.”
