STELLA Hospitality Group has boosted the presence of its accommodation brands with the addition of several marquee properties following the recent acquisition of Sunleisure Group Limited.

The former Sunleisure properties joining the group are Q1 Resort & Spa, Legends Hotel, Circle on Cavill, Avalon Riverfront Apartments and Lumiere Apartments.

Stella Hospitality Group chief executive officer Bob East says all five properties will now be managed by the Stella Hospitality Group (SHG).

"These landmark Gold Coast properties are renowned for their quality, position and service and are excellent additions to several of our premium brands," he says.

"The Gold Coast accommodation and residential markets are enjoying a major revival and properties such as these are leading the way."

Legends Hotel will join the Mantra brand of premium four to four-and-a-half star properties and become Mantra Legends Hotel.

Circle on Cavill will join the Saville Hotel Group and be re-branded to Saville Circle on Cavill.

The other properties will retain existing branding, but will be managed as follows - Q1 Resort & Spa, managed by Peppers; Avalon Riverfront Apartments, managed by Saville; Lumiere Apartments, Mantra management.

Stella Hotel Group has more than 130 properties and about 15,000 rooms across the corporate and leisure market in Australia and New Zealand. Its brands include Peppers Retreats, Resorts and Hotels; Mantra Hotels and Resorts; Saville Hotel Group and BreakFree Hotels, Resorts and Apartments.
