MFS Living and Leisure Group has applied for an overseas listing on the New Zealand Stock Exchange.

MFS chief executive Marshall Vann says the listing application confirms the group's commitment to New Zealand and to further grow and develop Australasia's leisure industry.

"We have indicated our commitment to New Zealand through our current takeover offer for New Zealand's Tourism Holdings and this application to the NZX affirms that commitment. The listing will also allow New Zealand-based investors to continue to invest in Australasia's growing leisure industry, enabling them to buy and sell securities in MFS Living and Leisure Group," he says.

The listing application will proceed regardless of the outcome of the MFS Living and Leisure Group $2.80 per ordinary share full takeover offer for Tourism Holdings Limited (NZX: THL). The NZX is currently processing the application.
