A NATIONAL expression of interest campaign has been launched for the
prime, vacant development land surrounding the highly successful Westfield Helensvale shopping centre on the northern Gold Coast.

Westfield Helensvale, located opposite the Helensvale railway station, opened in June 2005 and is one of the Gold Coast's key regional shopping precincts. The shopping centre forms the heart of the Westfield Helensvale Town Centre.

The masterplan for the entire town centre and its peripheral land is currently being finalised and will be influenced by the responses to the expression of interest campaign.

Precinct one, measuring 10,610sqm bounded by the Gold Coast Highway and Discovery Drive/Town Centre Drive, forms the nucleus of the proposed Westfield Helensvale Town Centre masterplan and will comprise commercial office space.

It is expected the Westfield Helensvale Town Centre will establish a northern Gold Coast office and business hub, easily accessible by local and Brisbane-based residents and further establishing the shopping centre as a premier retail destination.
