The Robina Easy T Centre has been placed on the market

THE cutting-edge Gold Coast shopping and dining hub, the Easy T Centre at Robina - whose tenants include a line-up of high-profile, national-chain brands - has been placed on the market.

The centre, in which a second-stage retail component has yet to be developed, opened for business in August and is anchored by an Aldi supermarket. Other household names in the tenant list include Amcal pharmacy, Zarraffa's Coffee, Network Video, Mrs Flannery's Natural Store, Brumby's bakery and a Night Owl convenience store.

The centre also has a newsagency, flame-grilled hamburger outlet, Thai and Indian restaurants, bottleshop, fresh-produce store, butchery, beauty and hair salons, tobacconist and a gymnasium. It includes a stand-alone medical precinct anchored by a large general practice and an LA Weight Loss clinic, also housing pathology, podiatry, and hearing-aid services.

The Easy T Centre, designed as a standout facility with sharp, clean lines and a modern, urban feel, will have parking for 290 vehicles.

It has been released for sale by its developer, Robina Land Corporation, which undertook the project in association with Robina Projects Australia. The two companies will undertake the 750sqm, second-stage retail component as a turn-key project on behalf of the buyer.

The property is being marketed by Mark Witheriff and Marcus Weld, of CB Richard Ellis Gold Coast, in a tender campaign that closes on October 16.

It is being offered for sale with a net annual rental in excess of $2.5 million.

Robina Projects Australia general manager Hylton Slater says the Easy T Centre is a rare offering as it represents an appealing mix of national businesses and high-quality Gold Coast enterprises in a retail facility that takes account of the latest trends in convenience-centre design.

"The Easy T Centre is an appealing, up-to-the-minute facility whose businesses are among the best in their fields and have an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction," he says.

"The centre has a fresh, urban feel and is a place where people can quickly address shopping, dining and healthcare needs. It combines ease of access and excellence of location with a strong line-up of tenants, most on solid, five-year leases with options.

"The Easy T Centre is within easy reach from anywhere in the Robina area, including from Robina Parkway, which is travelled by some 34,000 vehicles each day.

"High-quality retail properties are in strong demand and we expect the Easy T Centre to attract the interest of property trusts, investment companies and high-worth individuals Australiawide."
