Coast venues cash in on BEpoz technology

A REVOLUTIONARY payment system is adding efficiency to working environments in Gold Coast restaurants, hotels, convention venues and clubs.
BEpoz was developed in Australia specifically for Australian hospitality market requirements and is now used by companies including the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, The Gold Coast Arts Centre, Nobbys Surf Club and Shuck in Main Beach.
Smart Business Technologies (SBT) is the exclusive sale and support company behind the BEpoz product. SBT has been supplying and supporting cash register and POS solutions to the Australian market for more than 25 years.
Director Trina Hill says SBT now services more than 95 companies from Kempsey to Inglewood and as far north as Port Douglas with more than 300 sites internationally.
“Innovation is the key to survival in this climate,” says Hill.
“We are very product-driven and are a multi-venue supplier. For more than 10 years, we exclusively supplied and supported the Jetz POS product and successfully installed hundreds of sites throughout Queensland and northern NSW.”
Hill has taken over the family business from her father Graham, who was the exclusive Australian distributor for Kinktron cash registers in the 1970s. Clients now range from single till installations to venues with more than 60 POS terminals.
“Many of our users are also multi-venue businesses, with venues spread around Australia and controlled from a central management location,” she says.
“BEpoz uses the latest cutting edge technology to provide our clients with a powerful, fast, easy to use, reliable and cost effective solution. We at Smart Business Technologies in turn are dedicated to backing this up with superior customer support and ensuring that our clients receive the most out of their system.”
The company achieved 15 per cent growth last financial year.
